At Life is Ruff Golden Retrievers LLC we love helping people find the perfect new addition for their families. We are a small hobby breeder located in North Port, Florida, specializing in all colors of golden retrievers. We usually have 2-3 litters a year. Our dogs are treated like family. They swim daily, run freely on our fenced 3-acres, enjoy golf cart rides, the beach, socializing with people and animals, going to stores and finding themselves snuggled up with us in bed at night. We breed responsibly and pay special attention to minimizing the known hereditary diseases by having all our parent animals fully health tested. All dogs are required to have DNA testing and OFA testing on their eyes, heart, hips and elbows in order to be considered for our breeding program. All of the puppies are raised in our home, experience all types of positive exposures and are heavily socialized by the time they go to their forever families.

Copper and Maddie are both beautiful, sweet, friendly American goldens! They are AKC registered, DNA and OFA tested. Both have received their AKC Canine Good Citizen titles and have extensive obedience training. They love to swim, cuddle and play. Copper is a smaller/average sized golden, weighing in at 60 pounds. Maddie is a petite golden, weighing in at a tiny 45 pounds! Puppies from this litter will range in color from a gold to red with an adult weight expected between 45-65 pounds.
Copper also had PennHip testing performed. His hips scored so low, they are considered in the top 5% best hips for golden retrievers in the country!
This will be a repeat breeding. Maddie was an amazing first time momma to 6 beautiful babies in September 2022. Puppies from this litter ranged in color from gold to dark red.
