At Life is Ruff Golden Retrievers LLC we love helping people find the perfect new addition for their families. We are a small breeder located in North Port, Florida, specializing in all colors of golden retrievers. We usually have 1-3 litters a year. Our dogs are treated like family. They swim daily, run freely on our fenced 3-acres, enjoy golf cart rides, the beach, socializing with people and animals, going to stores and finding themselves snuggled up with us in bed at night. We breed responsibly and pay special attention to minimizing the known hereditary diseases by having all our parent animals fully health tested. All dogs are required to have DNA, PennHip and OFA testing on their eyes, heart, hips and elbows in order to be considered for our breeding program. All of our dogs are titled in CGC, CGCA. All of the puppies are raised in our home, experience all types of positive exposures and are heavily socialized by the time they go to their forever families.

Maddie is our calmest, sweetest, most gentle pup. She is therapy/service dog worthy and has produced pups who are currently both. Brady is also extremely calm, sweet and athletic. He too has produced therapy/service dogs. Maddie is titled in CGC, CGCA, DNA and OFA tested. Brady is titled in CGC, CGCA, BCAT, DS, FTN, FTI and CHIC certified. He is also DNA, OFA and PennHip tested. They like to swim, go on the boat, cuddle and be around humans every chance they get. The temperament between these pups couldn't be any better. These puppies are expected to be a light to medium gold color.

Rosie X Copper

Rosie and Copper are incredibly athletic, sweet and cuddly. They are both CGC, CGCA and CHIC certified. They are DNA, OFA and PennHip tested as well. Copper's hips are in the top 5% of best hips for goldens in the country and Rosie's are in the top 8%. Rosie is by far the smartest dog we have and quite the cuddle bug. She is incredibly unique and dives 6 feet under water. Copper is a very chill dog and is often described as an "old soul." They both live for swimming and the boat. Copper has produced therapy/medical alert dogs. These pups would make amazing family pets but would also do well for people interested in agility and dog sports. The puppies will be all dark golden (red).
